We designed the original Formit Ultra portable toilet 9 years ago and Formit has since risen to market dominance in the Australian portable toilet market.

Responding to changes in market requirements and production technologies we were again commissioned to redesign the product from the ground up, including a flat pack export variant of the product.

Top to bottom redesign included a revaluation of production process and the standardisation of components across the range of new Formit products; providing a significant opportunity to provide both product improvement and manufacturing efficiencies. Minimisation of processes, integration of multiple parts into one, standardisation of parts across the range of products, and bringing traditionally outsourced components in-house has provided significant cost savings in production, assembly and flat pack export containerisation.

The new Formit Domestic and Export portable toilets were designed by neo industrial design to maintain market dominance and forge new markets overseas for this locally manufactured product.
