From beginnings in Melbourne in 1947 as the Society of Designers for Industry, to the incorporation of the Industrial Design Institute of Australia in 1958, to its current form as the Design Institute of Australia in 1982 – the DIA has maintained the design professions responsibilities to Australian Society, through standards of professional practice and ethics.
We are proud to have been long time members of both the DIA and AAEE.
